South Llano River State Park

South Llano River State Park is located just south of Junction, Texas and is very well known for it's turkey population. The park has four bird blinds and each has a fountain to draw the birds in for observation and photography. The design of the blinds make a tripod difficult to use at best but a bean bag should work quite well in the blinds' photography windows. We saw a wide variety of birds, including the beautiful Painted Bunting and Indigo Bunting.
