Custer State Park
Custer State Park is located in the southwest corner of South Dakota near the Hot Springs and Custer. It is rich in wildlife and has a very large population of Bison. There are also elk, white-tailed and mule deer, Rocky Mountain Big Horn Sheep and other mammals and many species of birds. It has great scenic views and the "Needles Highway" is a beautiful drive. It is definitely worth a trip to visit it. Wind Cave National Park is also right next door and adds to the value of a trip to this area.
