Rocky Mountain National Park
Rocky Mountain National Park is one of our favorite locations-ANYWHERE! The wildlife is abundant and relatively used to humans so they can be photographed without too much difficulty. The scenery is second to none and Trail Ridge is one of my favorite places. No matter where one looks, there are beautiful images waiting to be captured. We were a little late for the Aspen trees to be in full color but there were still a few that added a splash of color. The last day we spend there it started snowing. The elk were out in force but the falling snow obscured them so it was difficult to get any decent pictures of them. Many of the images in this gallery are "stitched" panoramas which were created by connecting multiple images together to re-create the scene as it was. One little square just cannot capture the beauty of such a place. Enjoy...
