Saguaro National Park has two locations outside Tucson, Arizona-the East park and the West Park. We took time on our trip to visit the portion on the East side of Tucson on our way to California.

A Jack Rabbit stopped on the road ahead of us to scratch an itch.

This Desert Tortoise puts new meaning to the term "slow lane".  He was walking against traffic along the curb so after I took a few pictures of him on the road, I moved him off the road so he would not be run over.
I snapped a few more pictures after moving him away from the road.  The last time we saw him he was climbing up a hill away from the road.
